Three without a home after kitchen fire in Chesterfield
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Three people are without a home after a kitchen fire in Chesterfield County on Thursday.
Just before 5:40 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, crews with Chesterfield County Fire and EMS were called to the 3300 block of Meadow Oaks Boulevard for report of a house fire.
When they arrived, firefighters found a fire in the home's kitchen. They were able to put it out without any injuries to residents or fire personnel.
22-year-old Woodbridge man arrested after armed robberies in multiple counties
According to officials, the fire was caused by unattended cooking.
The damage caused to the home displaced three people, who fire officials said are being assisted by family members.
