New design unveiled for Quioccasin Middle School rebuild in Henrico County
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- In a significant update for the Henrico County community, plans for the reconstruction of Quioccasin Middle School were revealed during a school board work session Thursday night. After two years of planning, the designs shown on Thursday, Oct. 10 indicate a transformative shift for the existing facility. The proposed design will see the current one-story building replaced with a modern three-story structure. The next step is the design development, which starts in January of next year. Construction of the new school is expected to begin in the summer of 2025, with a projected completion date by the end of 2027.
