Adult, juvenile without a home after Chesterfield garage fire
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- One adult and one juvenile are without a home following a Monday night garage fire in Chesterfield County.
Just after 8:30 p.m. on Monday, June 2, firefighters with Chesterfield County Fire and EMS were called to a home in the 3900 block of Belspring Road for report of a structure fire.
When firefighters arrived, there was no active fire, though smoke remained in the home and in the garage. According to officials, the fire appeared to have started outside of the garage, then spread to its attic.

No one was hurt. However, the fire's damage has displaced one adult and one juvenile resident.
Father arrested after daughter shot, killed in Richmond
They are being assisted by family, according to officials.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
