Camper destroyed after it catches fire in Chesterfield backyard
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A large fire engulfed a camper in a Chesterfield County resident's backyard Wednesday afternoon. At about 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 6, firefighters with Chesterfield County Fire and EMS were called to the 9000 block of Lyric Court for a reported fire. When the first firefighters arrived, they found heavy fire coming from a camper in the home's backyard. According to fire officials, crews put out the flames in less than 10 minutes. No one was hurt. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
