Man killed in Richmond quadruple shooting not yet identified, police asking for information

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Richmond detectives have not been able to identify the man killed in a Sunday quadruple shooting in the city's Southwood neighborhood. Authorities are asking for the public's help in understanding what happened.
Just before 4 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 17, officers with the Richmond Police Department were called to an apartment building in the 1700 block of Clarkson Road for a report of a person shot.
When they arrived, they found a man outside the apartment building who had been shot. Two more men with gunshot wounds were found inside an apartment.
All three men were taken to a local hospital, where one of them died. As of Monday, Aug. 18, officers have not been able to identify him. The other two men remain in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A fourth victim, who police say was also shot during this incident, later arrived at a local hospital in a personal vehicle. His injury is not considered life-threatening.
According to police, the apartment where this shooting took place is known for hosting "after-hours parties."
