Expect weeks-long closure on Main Street in Bowling Green for utility work

CAROLINE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A portion of Main Street in the Town of Bowling Green in Caroline County will be closed for six weeks for utility work.

Between Monday, May 19, and Monday, June 30, Main Street between Chase Street/Milford Street and Courthouse Lane will be closed in Bowling Green for a town utility project.

According to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), drivers are advised to follow the marked detour route, which includes Route 207/Route 301 and East Broaddus Avenue.
