Man dies after being dropped off at local hospital with multiple gunshot wounds

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A man died after police said he was dropped off at a local hospital with gunshot wounds in Richmond early Sunday morning.
At 2:15 a.m. on Sunday, May 11, officers with the Richmond Police Department responded to the 600 block of South 2nd Street for the report of random gunfire.
When officers arrived, officials said they found a vehicle that had been damaged by gunfire.
A second call then came in saying a man had been dropped off at a local hospital with multiple life-threatening gunshot wounds.
The man then died due to his injuries, police said.
