New coffee shop opens in Richmond’s Jackson Ward area

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A new coffee shop opened in Richmond's Jackson Ward area earlier in August.
On Friday, Aug. 1, Coalescence Coffee Company, which has another location in Norfolk, held its grand opening of its brand-new location in the Greater Richmond Region at 23 W. Broad Street.
The Richmond location is 3,500 square feet, per a social post from the company. It's located near Juan's Rooftop & Cantina and Tarrant's Café.
The coffeehouse encourages those who check out the space to spread out and co-work, with separate meeting rooms available for rent, as you enjoy your coffee and tea.
The coffee shop is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, while the company's Norfolk location is 226 West 24th.
