Part of Broad Street was closed in Henrico after dump truck crashes into traffic pole
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A section of the westbound lanes of West Broad Street was closed and has since reopened in Henrico County after police said a dump truck crashed into a traffic pole. At 4:47 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31, the Henrico County Police Division said a dump truck crashed into a traffic pole at the intersection of West Broad Street and Springfield Road. The dump truck was the only vehicle involved, according to officials, and the traffic pole was damaged in the crash. Police said the westbound lanes of West Broad Street at Springfield Road were be shut down for several hours as crews worked to make repairs. The area later reopened.
