Teenage boy shot in Henrico’s Highland Springs

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A teenage boy is in the hospital after he was shot in Henrico County's Highland Springs area Friday evening.
At 7:21 p.m. on Friday, July 25, officers with the Henrico County Police Division were called to Shawn Court for a report of a shooting.
When they arrived, officers found a teenage victim outside with a non-life-threatening injury to the back.

He was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and is now considered stable as of 10 a.m. Saturday, according to police.

This is the third person shot in Henrico County within 24 hours, with a double shooting leaving two hurt on the evening of Thursday, July 24.
