Two without a home after house fire in Chesterfield
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Two people are without a home after a Tuesday morning house fire in Chesterfield County.
At about 11:05 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 9, firefighters with Chesterfield County Fire and EMS were called to a home in the 14200 block of Route 1 for the report of a structure fire.
When they arrived, firefighters found smoke and a small fire in a wall.

Crews were able to put out the fire in less than 10 minutes.

Thankfully, no one was hurt. However, the fire's damage displaced two residents, who are being assisted by property management.
Officials did not share the cause of the fire.
