21-year-old man hospitalized after crashing into Greene school bus
GREENE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A 21-year-old Greene County man is in the hospital after state police say he crashed into a school bus Tuesday afternoon.
At about 4:35 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 20, state troopers with Virginia State Police were called to the 10800 block of Spotswood Trail for report of a two-vehicle crash.
Investigators determined that a bus with Greene County Public Schools was pulling into a driveway when it was hit by a 21-year-old Greene man driving a 2006 Nissan Pathfinder. The impact caused the Nissan to spin out into the median.
Photos provided by the Greene County Sheriff's Office show what appears to be heavy damage to the Nissan.

The driver of the Nissan was taken to a local hospital for emergency medical treatment, according to state police. The extent of his injuries was not shared.
The bus driver was unhurt. There were no students on the bus at the time of the crash.
