Man fighting for life after being hit by train in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A man is fighting for his life after police say he was hit by a train in Richmond on Wednesday morning.
At about 5:15 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, officers with the Richmond Police Department were called to the 1800 block of Broad Rock Boulevard for a report of a crash involving a pedestrian and a CSX train.
When officers arrived, they found a man with injuries considered life-threatening after he was hit by the train. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
