25-year-old woman shot dead at her Chesterfield home, boyfriend charged with murder

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A 25-year-old woman is dead and her boyfriend is facing charges after she was shot multiple times at her Chesterfield County home on Thursday. Just before 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7, officers with the Chesterfield County Police Department were called to a home in the 5800 block of Nottinghill Drive for a reported shooting. When they arrived, officers found 25-year-old Dominique Fields of Chesterfield with multiple gunshot wounds. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment, where she later died. Investigators later obtained warrants for Fields' boyfriend, 31-year-old Quadry Campbell of Chesterfield, in connection to her death. He was arrested on Friday, Nov. 8, in Chesterfield County with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Service Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force. 3 suspects arrested in connection to Brook Road murder Campbell has been charged with second-degree murder and using of a firearm in the commission of a felony. According to police, Fields and Campell were dating and lived together at the Nottinghill Drive residence. No further details are available at this time.
