30-year-old man hospitalized after stabbing in Hopewell

HOPEWELL, Va. (WRIC) -- The Hopewell Police Department is investigating after a 30-year-old man was injured in a stabbing in Hopewell on Monday night.

On Monday, March 9, at 9:27 p.m., Hopewell Police Department officers responded to the 900 block of Davisville Court for a report of a man who had been stabbed.

Once on the scene, officers found a 30-year-old man who was suffering from non-life-threatening injuries from a stab wound. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

An investigation has been launched into this incident because the circumstances leading up to the incident are unknown.
