36-year-old arrested after person was allegedly stabbed in Petersburg
PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) -- A 36-year-old man has been arrested for malicious wounding in Petersburg in connection to an early stabbing Friday morning.
Just after 3:45 a.m. on Friday, June 6, officers with the Petersburg Bureau of Police were called to the 1100 block of W. Washington Street for a report of a person stabbed.
When officers arrived, they found a person with cuts to his hands.
Police said the suspect, who has been identified as 36-year-old Corey Daniels, was taken into custody and charged with malicious wounding.
Daniels was held at Riverside Regional Jail pending his court appearance.
