4 arrested after raids on Petersburg vape shops

PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) -- Four arrests were made following raids on multiple Petersburg vape shops, according to police.

On Friday, Dec. 5, the Petersburg Bureau of Police announced that it had "taken action in response to concerns about illegal sales occurring at local vape shops."

As part of this investigation, officers executed search warrants at multiple businesses.

Four people with connections to four different Petersburg vape shops were arrested. This includes the following shops:

  • Go Vape & Tobacco, located at 2130 S. Crater Rd.
  • Busy Exchange Vape, located at 1700 E. Washington St.
  • Petersburg Tobacco & Vape, located at 3600 S. Crater Rd.
  • Rod's Tobacco and Vape, located at 1930 S. Sycamore St.

Virginians warned of possible refreeze overnight amid snowy weather in Central Virginia

The charges these individuals face largely have to do with the distribution of marijuana. However, one of the individuals was charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition as a convicted felon.
