4 people hurt after fiery crash in Chesterfield
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Four people are hurt after a fiery crash in Chesterfield County late Thursday night.
Just before 7 p.m., units with both the Chesterfield County Police Department and Chesterfield County Fire and EMS were called to the intersection of Bailey Bridge and Claypoint roads for report of a two-vehicle crash.
According to police, one of the involved vehicles was turning from Bailey Bridge onto Claypoint when it collided with another vehicle.
One of the two vehicles then caught fire -- however, everyone was able to get out of the vehicle beforehand.
Fire officials told 8News that four people were taken to a local hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
