43-year-old man identified as victim in deadly Coalter Street shooting

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A man found dead in an apartment after a shooting on Coalter Street has been identified by police.
On Sunday, May 18 at 10:55 a.m., officers responded to the report of a person shot in the 1300 block of Coalter Street, according to the Richmond Police Department (RPD).
When officers arrived, they found 43-year-old Terrence Smith inside of an apartment, on the floor, with an apparent gunshot wound.
Officials said Smith was pronounced dead at the scene.
