5 years later, still no answers in Petersburg deadly drive-by shooting
PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) -- Five years later, Petersburg Police are still searching for answers in a 2020 drive-by shooting that left two young men dead.
Just after 11:20 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 4, 2020, officers with the Petersburg Bureau of Police were called to the 900 block of Hinton Street for report of a shooting.
Two friends, 30-year-old Johnathan T. King and 33-year-old Kevin Williams, were on the porch of a home when they were shot at from a passing car.
Both men were taken to a local hospital, where they later died.

On Monday, Oct. 20 -- the fifth anniversary of this deadly shooting -- the Petersburg Bureau of Police shared that it is still looking for leads.
