54-year-old arrested after commercial burglary in Petersburg
PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) -- A 54-year-old man was arrested in connection with a Petersburg commercial burglary on Thursday.
At 1:48 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, officers with the Petersburg Bureau of Police were called to the 100 block of Chappel Street for a reported burglary in progress.
When officers arrived, they found a suspect -- a 54-year-old man who was taken into custody without incident.
The man has been charged with burglary, possession of ammunition by a felon and misdemeanor larceny.
He is being held at Riverside Regional Jail pending his next court appearance.
