8News talks to Richmond Ballet about ‘The Nutcracker’ production

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- 8News got a visit from two special guests with the Richmond Ballet on Friday to talk about their production of "The Nutcracker" taking place this month at the Dominion Energy Center.

8News anchors Autumn Childress and Rolynn Wilson were joined by company dancer Naomi Robinson and company apprentice Senna Dewulf as they discussed what people can expect.

"It's honestly a fairytale, it's a storybook, it's lovely for children and for adults," Robinson said. "It has magic on stage and it's just such a beautiful and heartwarming production."

People can catch the show, which also includes a live score from the Richmond Symphony, at the Carpenter Theater on various dates from now until Dec. 23.

Tickets are available for purchase on the Dominion Energy Center's website.
