Annual RVA Duck Race set to announce first-ever mascot

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Autism Society of Central Virginia (ASCV) has announced the launch of the first-ever official mascot for the RVA Duck Race and Festival of Inclusion.
Starting Wednesday, July 23, the public is invited to submit their name ideas, with finalist voting being held from Aug. 4 to Aug. 10.
The ASCV is partnering up with Genworth for this year's Duck Race and mascot reveal. The winning name is set to be revealed at a special event hosted by Genworth on Aug. 13.
After its reveal, the mascot will make appearances throughout the community leading up to the main event on Sept. 6 at Brown's Island.
