Cabaret theatre DreamHaus opens in Shockoe Bottom

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A new cabaret theatre is opening its doors in Shockoe Bottom.

DreamHaus, a brand new cabaret experience, is set to create a safe and lively space for both Richmond-based artists and the audience this month.

"We're an artists hub," said founder Vinny Venuti on 8News's The 8-Bit Show. "We are a dining theatre, we are a cabaret, we are anything entertainment. DreamHaus's goal is to shake up the entertainment that's here in Richmond — we want to provide experiences that are different from the night before."

The theatre has set its grand opening date for Saturday, Dec. 13.

Guests can expect bold performances, live cabaret, immersive moments and Italian cuisine. Tickets start at $17.85 for the opening night. Doors open at 6 p.m.
