Celebrate Independent Bookstore Day with bookstore tour in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — This year's Independent Bookstore Day is returning in April with a tour for book lovers featuring more than 10 local bookstores.

The Greater RVA Indie Bookstore Tour will kick off on Independent Bookstore Day, lasting from April 25 through May 16. During the period, participants can visit 11 participating bookstores, grab a passport and collect stamps at each location.

Those who complete their passport will receive a prize. They can also enter to win a grand prize -- a $50 gift card from every participating bookstore -- by emailing a selfie with their passport to idbrva@gmail.com.

The tour will feature 11 participating bookstores in the Richmond area:
