HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Not only did Hanover County firefighters recently rescue a trapped kitten, but they helped the little guy find a "furr"-ever home. On Wednesday, Oct. 2, Engine 401 with the Ashland Volunteer Fire Company was contacted by a local family about a trapped kitten. While fire officials did not specify the nature of the kitten's predicament, the firefighters were able to safely free them, according to the Hanover County Fire-EMS Department. On Wednesday, Oct. 2, Engine 401 with the Ashland Volunteer Fire Company was contacted by a local family about a trapped kitten.
