Chesterfield Fire and EMS to host blood drive in March

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Chesterfield County Fire and EMS is hosting a blood drive in mid-March.

Chesterfield County Fire and EMS announced in a social post that it is partnering with Inova Blood Donor Services to host a blood drive on March 10 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The blood drive will be in the Eanes-Pittman Building in the shared classroom space A and B, located at 6610 Public Safety Way.

Donations given will support the Whole Blood Program, which supplies blood to patients in critical condition during emergency calls or during pre-hospital settings.
