Chesterfield Fire & EMS Station 1 gifted a new custom-built table

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A new custom-built table was sent to Chesterfield County Fire and EMS Station 1 in Chester.

According to a Facebook post from the fire department, Owen Suter's Fine Furniture donated a custom-built table to Station 1 on Tuesday morning, Feb. 5.

The table displays the station's logo and plaque -- which honors the late Captain Jason Ware, who was Station 1's captain before he passed away in August 2023. Captain Ware's wife was also there to see the table delivered yesterday.

The fire department shared that the new table will serve as the station's centerpiece, where the firefighters can eat meals together and hang out with one another.

Chesterfield Fire and EMS extended their thanks to Owen Suter's Fine Furniture for the generous gift.
