Chesterfield man arrested in connection to Goochland burglaries

GOOCHLAND COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A 52-year-old Chesterfield man has been arrested and served three felony warrants in connection to several burglaries that took place in Goochland County earlier this month.

According to the Goochland County Sheriff's Office, 52-year-old Keith Douglas Groff, of North Chesterfield, has been arrested and served two felony warrants for breaking and entering as well as a felony warrant for grand larceny.

His arrest was made in connection to what the sheriff's office referred to as "a series of residential burglaries" that took place on March 5 and March 6 throughout the central and eastern parts of Goochland.

Officials said that in addition to the felony warrants, Groff was also served a misdemeanor warrant for petit larceny. He is currently being held at Pamunkey Regional Jail without bond.

Groff will appear in Goochland County General District Court at 8:45 a.m. on Monday, March 17, according to the sheriff's office.
