Chesterfield police continue to search for suspect involved in armed robbery

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Chesterfield County Police Department is continuing its search for a suspect who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint on Wednesday, July 16.

According to police, the robbery occurred at 100 E. Hundred Road, when "an unknown Black male suspect entered the store and robbed it at gunpoint."

"While pointing a black firearm in his right hand, the suspect grabbed a bag from the counter, gave it to the clerk and told her to put money in the bag," officials said.

The victim reportedly gave the suspect the bag of money, after which he left on foot with an estimated $350.
