Chesterfield Police investigating ‘suspicious death’ after receiving call from Richmond Police
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The Chesterfield County Police Department is investigating a "suspicious death" after receiving a call from the Richmond Police Department asking the department to check on a resident.
At around 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26, Chesterfield Police received a call from the Richmond Police Department asking the department to check on a resident in the 12000 block of Goldenbrook Drive.

When Chesterfield Police officers arrived on the scene, they found a person dead inside of the residence. In a press release sent at 5 p.m., officials said Chesterfield Police are investigating the incident as a "suspicious death."
A spokesperson for Chesterfield Police said this incident is an ongoing investigation, with police to be at the scene for "an extended period of time." Police said there is no threat to the community.
