Children’s Hospital of Richmond to host radiothon fundraiser

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Children's Hospital of Richmond at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) is hosting its annual 36 Hours for Kids Radiothon this week.
The radiothon will take place on Thursday, Dec. 11 and Friday, Dec. 12 from 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., although hours may vary by station.
The event features a two-day live broadcast that showcases stories from patients as well as families to aid in raising awareness and funds for the hospital.
There will also be special matching hours throughout the event, offering people the chance to double their impact.
