Crash, power outage shuts down Three Chopt Road in Henrico

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A crash and power outage have shut down Three Chopt Road in Henrico County on Saturday morning.

At about 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, the Henrico County Police Division shared that Three Chopt Road will be closed between Skipwith Road and Westham Parkway for 5 to 8 hours.

According to police, they are working on an accident in the 7400 block of Three Chopt Road, with power out in the area as of the time of reporting.

Crews are working to restore said power.

"We are asking drivers to avoid this area and take alternate routes," police wrote in the announcement. "We will send out another bulletin when the road is reopened."
