Daily lane closure, detours coming to Richmond intersection for paving
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A daily lane closure with detours at a Richmond intersection will be in place for several days starting on Monday to allow for paving. A daily lane closure will take place at the intersection of Cumberland Avenue and Laurel Street from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 28 through Thursday, Oct. 31. According to the City of Richmond's Department of Public Works, the lane closure will allow a contractor to perform paving operations in the intersection. Some lanes of travel will be temporarily closed during this process.
