David Byrne coming to the Altria Theater in Richmond on new tour

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Musician David Byrne is making a stop at Richmond's Altria Theater in October for his new tour.

Byrne, who people may know as the lead singer, guitarist and songwriter for Talking Heads, is bringing his "Who is the Sky" tour to the Altria Theater on Oct. 14. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, June 13 at 10 a.m.

This tour follows Byrne's "American Utopia," an album turned tour turned Broadway show turned HBO film directed by Spike Lee. People can expect guest appearances from artists like Hayley Williams, St. Vincent and Tom Skinner.
