Fire blazes from Richmond auto repair shop on Three Chopt Road

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A fire blazed from an auto repair shop on Three Chopt Road in Richmond Monday morning.
According to the Richmond Fire Department, a report of a fire at World Foreign Car Services Mercedes Specialists, located at 7010 Three Chopt Road, came in at 3:38 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 27.
Firefighter crews arrived at the scene at 3:43 a.m. to find a fire at a one-story building between its ceiling and roof.
Most of the inside of the building has been destroyed, according to officials.

As of 7 a.m., officials said the fire had nearly been contained. There were no injuries.
8News spoke to the shop's owners, who said the business has been there for 39 years and has five employees.
