Friday Cheers announces 2025 concert lineup

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Friday Cheers is returning to Richmond in May for its 40th anniversary season with a variety of music performances. The concert series, presented by Hardywood Park Craft Brewery, kicks off on Friday, May 2 on Brown's Island. The following performances are slated for the spring and summer seasons: May 2: Chaparelle at 8 p.m. with Jack Wharff and the Tobacco Flatts at 6:30 p.m. May 9: Bully at 8 p.m. with Rikki Rakki at 6:30 p.m. May 23: RVA Music Night: Dogpark at 8:20 p.m., Caroline Vain at 7:15 p.m. and Weekend Plans at 6:15 p.m. May 30: Josiah and the Bonnevilles at 8 p.m. with Jonathan Paige Brown Jr. at 6:30 p.m. June 6: Kashus Culpepper at 8 p.m. with Ramona & the Holy Smokes at 6:30 p.m. June 13: La Lom at 8 p.m. with Afro-Zen Allstars at 6:30 p.m. June 20: The War and Treaty at 8 p.m. with Mekong Xpress & the Get Fresh Horns at 6:30 p.m. June 27: Say She She at 8 p.m. with Big Fancy at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door, and children ages 12 and under are free. Season passes are available for $55 for a limited time through March 2. On March 3, organizers said season passes will increase to $65.
