Henrico Animal Shelter cares for baby snake found stuck in glue trap
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The Henrico County Police Animal Shelter cared for a baby rat snake that was found in a sticky situation.
In a Facebook post on Thursday, June 5, the shelter said that it recently treated a juvenile rat snake that was found stuck in a glue trap.

Shelter staff used mineral oil and a cotton swab to remove the snake from the trap after determining that its scales weren't damaged yet.
"Our scaly friend rested at our shelter under observation for a few days and was released safely back into the wild yesterday," the animal shelter said.
