Henrico County Police officer injured in crash on I-295 in Hanover
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A Henrico County Police officer was injured in a crash on Interstate 295 in Hanover County on Tuesday. At 12:36 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29, the Henrico County Department of Emergency Communications received information about a Henrico County Police officer who was riding a motorcycle and was involved in a crash on I-295 in Hanover County. Police said the officer has critical, but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. As of 2 p.m. on Tuesday, the Henrico County Police Crash Team and Virginia State Police were on scene investigating the crash.
