Henrico County Recreation and Parks set to begin garden camp

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Henrico County Recreation and Parks has announced that its "Growing in the Garden Together" camp will start on Tuesday, June 3.

According to a Facebook post, the camp is set to run from Tuesday June 3, to June 5 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for ages two and up.

The Garden Growing camp will feature activities, crafts and will offer both parents and children a chance to learn about flowers and critters that live within the garden.

Guided activity stations will also be provided for families as well as crafting, scavenger hunting, gardening and storytelling experiences.

The camp is free for attendees and does not require any advanced registration, the camp says "just come drop in together and let's grow!"
