Industrial printer catches fire at Chesterfield photography lab
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- An industrial printer caught on fire inside a photography business along Midlothian Turnpike in Chesterfield County Monday evening.
At 11:09 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 4, Chesterfield County Fire and EMS crews responded to a call for a fire inside Richmond Professional Lab, a photography lab located at 7545 Midlothian Turnpike.
Officials said firefighters found a large industrial printer on fire inside the building. Crews contained the fire to the printer, and the fire was marked under control in less than 30 minutes.
There were no injuries, according to officials.

Due to a large amount of smoke inside the building, crews remained on scene for an extended time. Chesterfield County Fire and EMS crews used the Mobile Ventilation Unit to try to clear the smoke out of the business.
