Lane to close on I-95 in Hanover due to emergency paving

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A lane will be closed this Tuesday on Interstate 95 in Hanover due to emergency paving operations.

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) sent out information on Monday that the right travel lane of I-95 southbound -- at mile marker 96 near Doswell -- will be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 18 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for emergency paving operations.

VDOT urges drivers to proceed with caution as they travel through the work zone. Anyone with questions about the paving project can call 800-367-7623, VDOT's customer service center.
