Line Dancing with Rhonda: Staying fit while having fun

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- 8News got a visit from several special guests with Line Dancing with Rhonda on Friday to explore how people can stay fit while having fun.

8News anchors Autumn Childress and Delaney Hall and traffic reporter Nia McMillan were joined by Rhonda Dickson and several dancers to show viewers what they can expect at a class.

"I find that when I'm line dancing, I'm moving my body, my heart rate is up, I'm just having a great time," Dickson said. "The endorphins are moving, and it's just a great way to exercise, and not feel like you're exercising."

Everyone in the studio got their chance to try out a line dance of their own as Dickson demonstrated the type of workout a participant would experience throughout a class.
