LIST: Central Virginia schools closed, delayed Friday due to winter weather

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- With wintry weather still affecting many localities across the Commonwealth, some school divisions in Central Virginia are choosing to close or delay their openings on Friday. The following Central Virginia school districts will be closed on Friday, Feb. 14: Amelia County Public Schools 12-month employees to report at 10 a.m. Cumberland County Public Schools 12-month employees to report at 10 a.m. Prince Edward County Public Schools The following Central Virginia school districts will open two hours late on Friday: Essex County Public Schools Goochland County Public Schools Louisa County Public Schools This list will be updated as additional closing or delay notifications come in.
