HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Spring has nearly sprung! Richmond area residents can celebrate the start of the season by making "seed bombs" at a workshop in Henrico County Friday evening.

The free event will be held from 3 to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 21, at Echo Lake Park, located at 5701 Springfield Rd. in Henrico County.

According to Henrico County, attendees will make seed bombs using native seeds, which support native pollinators. The event is suitable for all ages.
