Man accused of breaking into Petersburg hotel room
PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) -- A man was arrested after police say he broke into a Petersburg hotel room Monday night.
Just before 9 p.m. on Monday, June 9, officers with the Petersburg Bureau of Police were called to a Best Inn and Suites in the 500 block of E. Wythe Street for report of a disturbance.
When they arrived, officers arrested a 31-year-old man after learning that he may have broken into one of the hotel's rooms.

The suspect was charged with burglary, obstruction of justice and resisting arrest. He is being held at Riverside Regional Jail without bond as of the time of reporting.
