Man and woman found with stab wounds in Richmond’s Southside

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A man and woman were both found with stab wounds in Richmond's Southside in the early hours on New Year's Day.

At 2:54 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 1, officers with the Richmond Police Department responded to the 3400 block of Keighly Road for the report of a stabbing.

When officers arrived, they found a man and a woman who both had apparent stab wounds, according to police.

Both victims were reportedly taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said investigators are not looking for any additional suspects, as of reporting.
