Man found shot in head after crash in Buckingham, arrest made
BUCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A man is fighting for his life after he was shot in the head in Buckingham County on Monday, with first responders finding him in a truck that had crashed.
Just before 1 p.m. on Monday, May 12, deputies with the Buckingham County Sheriff's Office were called to the 2300 block of Pattie Road for report of a shooting.
When they arrived, they found a truck that had crashed into the woods. Officers then found 45-year-old Scott Randall of the Dillwyn area inside the truck. He had been shot in the head.
He was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Deputies then arrested 41-year-old Vincent Rose in connection with the shooting. The exact charge or charges he faces were not specified by authorities.
