Man injured in Swansboro shooting, Richmond police investigating

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Richmond Police Department is investigating after a man was injured in a shooting in the neighborhood of Swansboro on Friday night.

At 3:13 p.m. on Sept. 12, officers were called to the 2400 block of Hull Street for a report of a person shot.

Upon their arrival, officers found a man with an apparent gunshot wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Following a preliminary investigation, detectives determined that the shooting had originally occurred in the 2300 block of Decatur Street.
