Member One to transition to Virginia Credit Union brand following merger

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Following the merger of Virginia Credit Union and Member One in August 2024, all operations will now operate under the Virginia Credit Union brand.

The brand transition was announced in a release from Virginia Credit Union on Tuesday, June 3. Member One customers will continue to bank as usual until Spring 2026, when the change is expected to take place.

According to a release from Virginia Credit Union, Member One customers will be informed of integration milestones and service updates as the credit union is integrated.

“The Virginia Credit Union brand has almost a century of history behind it and boasts a proven track record as a member-focused organization, one that’s driven by its mission and focused on delivering value for members through its products, services, and resources,” said Virginia Credit Union President/CEO Chris Shockley.
